An important step toward more safety in the operating theater was our development of the weavable X-ray detectable thread Telatrast with which all dressings and swabs for use in the operating room are equipped. Thus the radiographic medium enables reliable verification. Additional safety is provided by the prepackaging of Telatrast bandage materials in modules with checking stickers which make count checks and documentation easier for the operating theater staff.
We make an important contribution to the solution of the problem of the transmission of germs. We took up the challenge of effectively eliminating routes of infection with safe disposable products. The result is a complete range for complete asepsis: Disposable surgical gloves, disposable theater clothing as well as disposable drapes for the patient and the operating theater environment as well as for major and minor surgery.
